PEPCO Darnestown Substation Stormwater Management Concept Plan

Soltesz provided civil engineering design and surveying services including stormwater management concept plan, site plan, forest conservation plan amendment and permitting, tree location survey and impacts waiver, utility plan, landscaping and lighting plan, and conditional use hearing and application materials. Soltesz is providing micro-scale environmental site design practices to the maximum extent practical, addressing unique topography and limited storm drain connection points to the site.

This task order was part of a larger contract, where Soltesz has successfully coordinated and performed each task order, providing engineering design and surveying services within the provided deadlines. Task orders assigned to Soltesz include underground transmission design, substation concept plans, substation feasibilities studies, and design and approvals for maintenance access roads. Within those task orders, Soltesz has performed alternative route analysis, surveying, sediment and erosion control plans, roadside tree permits, utility plans, landscaping and lighting plans, stormwater management design, ESD, entitlement and zoning research, permitting efforts, budget cost estimates, and as-built information.
