Groundbreaking Ceremony for Kaiser Permanente

Urban Atlantic and Kaiser Permanente is getting closer to its goal to bring about 850 employees to Prince George's County.

A groundbreaking celebration for the new 200,000 square foot facility at the New Carrollton Metro Station commenced on October 4, 2017. New Carrollton has grown immensely over the past five years. The 49-acre mixed-use development is planned to include 1.3M square feet of residential space, 1.1M square feet of office space, 150K square feet of retail space, and a hotel.The Kaiser Permanente Committee and Urban Atlantic praised Soltesz for its excellent work. Soltesz Supports the 26th Annual Baltimore Washington Ride for Kids

On Sunday, September 24, 2017, the 26th Annual Baltimore Washington Ride for Kids was held at Turf Valley Resort with over 230 participants and volunteers in attendance.

Over the past 26 years, this Baltimore Washington Ride for Kids event has raised $3,800,000 for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (PBTF). The PBTF is the largest non-governmental source of funding for research, treatment, and family support for children with brain tumors.Tom Chicca, in our Rockville office, has been a member of the Baltimore Washington Ride for Kids Task Force for the past twelve years and a Task Force Leader for the past six years. This Task Force spends the year planning and organizing by working with individuals, clubs, and dealers to encourage fundraising.This year’s event raised over $83,000 for the Foundation. Soltesz, Inc. is a much appreciated contributor to the event. We were fortunate to have three “Stars” and their families attend the event. The Stars are pediatric brain tumor survivors. Another successful MACo summer conference! Soltesz exhibited at this year's conference in Ocean City, MD at the Roland Convention Center from August 16th to August 18th.
