Soltesz is pleased to announce that the Continuing Professional Competency (CPC) Standards Committee, Maryland Board for Professional Engineers has approved Soltesz’s expansive in-house Professional Development Training Program.

Soltesz recently hosted a Meet-and-Greet Cocktail Reception to celebrate the appointment of Michael Smith as Montgomery County's Development Ombudsman. Hosted at Soltesz’s Rockville office, the reception was attended by local officials, developers, and private business owners.

Carter, AIA, has entered into a consulting partnership with Soltesz as the Director of Strategic Land Use and Planning, drawing upon his 30 years of experience with The Maryland National-Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) and Perkins and Will Architects to provide consulting services to the firm and its clients.

Soltesz President and CEO, James Soltesz, PE, was appointed as Vice-Chair to the Maryland Business Regulatory Reform Commission by Governor Larry Hogan. The Commission is tasked by the Governor to perform a comprehensive review of Maryland’s business regulatory climate and develop solutions to foster economic prosperity in the State.

Soltesz is proud to have been recognized at the June 24, 2015 ribbon cutting ceremony by the Montgomery Housing Partnership (MHP) and Elm Street Development (Elm Street) for our services as site civil engineer on the Olney Springs Housing Development.

In efforts to provide valuable professional training opportunities to its employees, Soltesz recently hosted a Time Management Workshop in the firm’s Rockville office. The course was attended by employees representing all of Soltesz’s office locations.
