Soltesz DC, LLC was honored to share its expertise on stormwater management in Washington, DC on January 11, 2017 with a local architect. The discussion included an overview on new stormwater management regulations to come in 2017, DOEE permitting overview, and online resources. Highlighted projects included US Coast Guard Headquarters with the largest green roof in the country, Fenwick Station , and the Cleanwater Partnership Stormwater Management Retrofits (P3) in Prince George's County. 

Soltesz secured another win in St. Mary’s County. The Soltesz Leonardtown office was selected to provide surveying and engineering services for the Patuxent Park Revitalization Project – Phase 5 for St. Mary’s County in Maryland. The proposed section is approximately 5,500 feet (1.04 mile) in total roadway length and will consist of the reconstruction of roads within Patuxent Park, which primarily consist of roads west of Saratoga Drive.

Prince George's County is well on its way to meeting the goal for improving the quality of stormwater management practices and Soltesz is honored to be the engineer delivering those acres. Twenty-four sites and 108 Best Management Practices (BMP) have been certified to treat 354 impervious acres!

Soltesz was honored to host the 2017 Holiday Art Contest at Loiederman Middle School. supporting the community and the arts through our annual holiday art competition.

The Waldorf Soltesz staff enjoyed some quality time with each other before the holidays with our Holiday Luncheon. 

Jim Soltesz attended the Committee for Montgomery's Annual Legislative Breakfast, where elected officials, government and business representatives, and community leaders throughout Montgomery County and the State of Maryland were in attendance.

Together Soltesz is making an impact on some of the most important issues facing our communities. We donated $4,000 in total to Three Oaks Center, Angel's Watch Regional Shelter, Community Ministry of Prince George's County, and The Dwelling Place this quarter. The money we have contributed is saving lives and bringing hope to people in need.  It's something we can all be proud to support.

Soltesz held its Annual Toys for Tots Holiday Luncheon, supporting the companywide priority to give back to the community.

Soltesz conducted a companywide Stormwater Management Summit, where staff was lectured on the newest innovations in water quality in this rapidly expanding industry. The session featured one of the nation’s most renowned experts in the field, Neil Weinstein, President of Low Impact Development, a nationally known non-profit company.

In preparation of the upcoming colder weather and to give a great big thank you to our employees, Soltesz happily handed out winter coats to our staff sporting the firm's logo!
