Soltesz sponsored and attended the 2019 Environmental Business Leadership Conference (EBLC), where Maryland Governor Larry Hogan was featured as a keynote speaker. The focus of this event was to share and discuss Maryland initiatives designed to create both a healthy environment and a thriving economy in symbiotic balance, which includes a significant focus on stormwater management.

January 25, 2019 - Last night, the Maryland Society of Professional Engineers honored James A. Soltesz (Jim) with an honorable "Icon of the Industry Award." Colleagues, employees, friends and engineers gathered at the Engineer's Club for the their semi-annual Engineers Cocktail Reception and Awards Night. This event is held to celebrate the newly licensed engineers of Maryland at the historic Engineers Club. 

Nov 15, 2018 – Ken Dunn, Managing Member, Soltesz LLC based in Lanham, Maryland (a wholly owned subsidiary of Soltesz, Inc.) was selected as the 2018 recipient of the Maryland Building Industry Association's Joseph C. Rodgers Sr. "Associate of the Year" Award. The award is presented annually in recognition of extraordinary and outstanding service by an associate member to the Association throughout the current year of the award.

Dec 2018 - Every year, Soltesz sponsors a holiday card contest at A. Mario Loiederman Middle School. The top 3 winners receive gift cards from Soltesz.  This year's winning holiday art card design goes to Muhammad Saad! Happy Holidays, everyone!

November 11, 2018 - Soltesz watched the “Unveiling of America's Team” at National Harbor this past Veterans Day, Sunday November 11th. There are five statues representing each branch of the US military. The statues stand in a garden area in the Waterfront District at the National Harbor development. Soltesz was the primary engineer for the site and for the Peterson Companies.

Just in the past few weeks Soltesz, Inc. was recognized at the groundbreakings for two monumental Montgomery County projects. Soltesz is proud of our services and relationships that have helped bring these projects to fruition.

Otober 27, 2018 - The CleanWater Partnership, a Public-Private Partnership between Corvias and Prince George’s County held a “Trunk or Treat” at their office parking lot in Largo, Maryland. Soltesz participated in this community activity by decorating our trunk and getting into our costume as a water molecule. Soltesz presented this as two hydrogen atoms bonded to an oxygen. Despite the persistent rain, Soltesz staff member Shanell West, Olivia Bodnar, and Ken Dunn handed out the big bars of candy to the many trunk or treaters!

September 4th – Saying goodbye to summer, Soltesz gathered at Nationals Ballpark for the Washington Nationals baseball game yesterday against the St. Louis Cardinals. It was a hot one, but we had a ball! Check us out!

Soltesz is committed to enriching the lives and future careers of the next generation of Engineers. This past summer Soltesz was happy to have more interns than we’ve had in a while. They were put to work and they can take credit for a lot!

August 20, 2018 - This past week, the Annual Maryland Association of Counties (MACo) Summer Conference drew nearly 2,000 local, state, and federal government officials and their families to the Roland Powell Convention Center in Ocean City, Maryland. This year’s conference, “Water, Water, Everywhere,” focused on all the ways counties work with water, from the health of the Bay and Maryland’s waterways to the infrastructure, treatment and regulations that ensure safe and healthy water flows through our pipes.
